The Guardian reporter, Juliet Rix, has written a substantial piece about a day spent at the Wells Street Family Proceedings Court. In the article she quotes District Judge Katherine Marshall who gets "really irritated by all these stories of 'secret' courts" and while she thinks it "is right that the public can't just walk in off the street and poke their noses in to other families' private business all FPCs are open to the press, and it is important that the public understands what goes on".
The full story can be found on The Guardian website.
